The 5th Edition of MEPEC was held under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister, Kingdom of Bahrain and took place at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre on the 14th - 16th October 2019.
MEPEC 2019 brought together the international business community to one business hub to share experience and expertise. It provided a platform for the business and academic segments of the energy industry to discuss best practices that can be adopted worldwide to optimize the future of process engineering. MEPEC proved to be the definitive event for process engineering and allowed networking opportunities between technology providers, industry specialists and professionals from the engineering, construction, maintenance, supply chain and logistics sections of the sector.

2019 AIChE Middle East Regional Chem-E-Car Competition®
Designed to test ability to adapt and be innovative, the competition witnessed teams of undergraduate students develop and construct a car powered by a chemical or biochemical energy source, safely transport a specified weight over a given distance. The winner of this exciting competition for 2019 was Jordan University of Science and Technology.
