Technical Program Introduction
MEPEC 2011's event welcomed more than 1000 attendees to address the challenges of changing feed stocks, sustainability, changing product quality specifications, extracting maximum value from assets and limited availability of an experience workforce. The event also provided a forum for sharing knowledge on successful implementation of supply chain optimization, capacity increases and performance improvement through deployment of new technologies.
This major international conference is intended to be a forum for discussion and exchange of practical experience in all aspects of process engineering issues related to the process industry (including but not limited to upstream and downstream activities in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical Industries).
MEPEC 2013 will highlight how to add value to the process industry through smart engineering and manufacturing & operation excellence.
The main theme of the conference “Meeting Future Challenges through Engineering Excellence” has been selected to emphasize the main objective of the event of seeking solutions to the various challenges facing the process industry through engineering excellence.
The “search for the best to improve the rest” approach is the foundation for most of the best practices programs in our industry to attain engineering excellence. Today’s industries are seeking out and sharing best practices to reduce costs and help the company’s bottom line. It is long recognized that “reinventing the wheel” is costly and in most cases not required.
The conference will bring together hundreds of experts from all over the world to share their most innovative ideas and best practices for resolving process engineering issues. The conference is also expected to gather Licensors, EPC contractors and Exhibitors from leading companies in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical/Chemical, and others, to speak and showcase their equipment, technologies, services, opportunities available that will help your company gain competitive position in this key industry.
The 2nd Middle East Process Engineering Conference & Exhibition will be an opportunity for process engineers, production engineers, researchers, senior managers in engineering, operations, maintenance, SHE, and process technology from owner side; and business development executives from services and products providers to network and learn from their peers.
The conference has 7 major topics as given below. We are confident that most areas of interest to process, production engineers, or researchers fit easily into one of the six main conference topics.
